Within the framework of the Program of Scientific and Technical Relations between the Russian Federation and Japan, from July 29 to August 1, 2019, scientists from the Institute of Environmental Radioactivity of Fukushima University (Japan) visited RIRAE.

At the meeting, a Memorandum of Understanding between the institutions was signed. The following lectures were presented for the scientific staff of the Institute:

Professor Kenji Nanba «General Introduction to Institute of Environmental Radioactivity and its radioecocological activities»;

Professor Vasyl Yoschenko «Radiation effects in coniferous plants affected by Chernobyl and Fukushima accidents».
